Principal Trameasha Strickland leads the Lions at Wright Junior High School. A proud graduate of Lamar Consolidated High School, Ms. Strickland has served the district as a teacher, instructional leader, assistant principal, and associate principal. Prior to joining Wright Junior High, she served as Associate Principal at Terry High School. Ms. Strickland earned her bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and her master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston- Victoria. She is passionate about building strong relationships, fostering academic excellence, and creating opportunities for every student to succeed. Ms. Strickland is honored to serve the students, staff, and families of Wright Junior High.
